Arthur C Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies (ACCIMT) and Department of Agrarian Development (DAD) have entered into this MOU with the view of ACCIMT to offer consultancy and other related technical support services in the areas of its expertise for DAD to facilitate creation of a conductive environment in achieving the below-mentioned technology requirements to fulfil DAD’s major statutory objectives.

I. Cultivated paddy area identification and rice yield forecasting

II. Providing comprehensive solutions for agriculture drought and other associated on-field

    Condition monitoring using some tailor-made solutions

III. Identification and mapping of paddy-cultivated areas that will be affected by floods

IV. Monitoring of plant health of paddy cultivation in selected areas

V. Assisting applications which require employment of space or airborne remote sensing

    And data gathering platforms

VI. Developing customized information technology based solutions incorporating Mobile

   Apps and cloud sourcing techniques
