ACCIMT signed an MoU with ROSCOSMOS, the Russian Space Agency, on space cooperation.
A subsequent MoA with Samara National Research University (formerly SSAU) provided specialized space-engineering training for 17 engineers from ACCIMT, the University of Peradeniya, and the University of Moratuwa.
A Cooperative Research Agreement was signed with Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech), Japan, under which ACCIMT embarked on developing Sri Lanka’s first 1U nano-satellite, later named RAAVANA-1.
