Senior Research Engineer & Senior Research Scientist

The ACCIMT is a Research & Development Institute functioning as a statutory board within the purview of the Ministry of Science & Technology. The mandate of the Institute is to accelerate the introduction of modern technologies in the fields of Electronics, Communications, Information Technology, Space Applications and Robotics through research and development, training and related activities.

The ACCIMT invites applications from suitably qualified citizens of Sri Lanka for the posts of Senior Research Engineer & Senior Research Scientist.

Qualifications & Experience:

1.	Senior Research Engineer (Electronics)
	B.Sc. Degree in Engineering in a relevant field from a recognized University
	AND
	Either	(a)	Post Charter 04 years experience in the relevant field
	OR	(b)	M.Sc. Degree or equivalent qualifications with 08 years experience in the relevant field.
2.	Senior Research Scientist
	B.Sc. Special Degree with 1st or 2nd class in a relevant field from a recognized University
	AND
	M.Sc. Degree or equivalent qualifications and 8 years experience in the relevant field.
	Area(s) of Specializations:
	Remote Sensing/Geographic Information Systems/Global Positioning Systems/Other Space Technology related fields.
	Salary Scale:
	Senior Research Engineer & Senior Research Scientist
	Rs.  38,530 – 15 x 1100 – 55,030/= p.m.
	(Plus Cost of Living Allowance at Government approved rate).
	Other Benefits:
	(a)	Medical Scheme covering indoor/outdoor treatment within specified limits;
	(b)	Reimbursement of subscription to a professional society;
	(c)	EPF – Employees 10% ; ACCIMT 15%;  and
	(d)	ETF – ACCIMT  3%;
